Our Sunday School

Our Sunday School meets at 10:00 a.m., the same hour as our Worship Service.

Mary Baker Eddy, the discoverer and founder of Christian Science, said that Sunday School is the most important school one could attend.

We lovingly welcome young people up to the age of 20 to attend our Sunday School where they learn the healing truths of Christian Science as taught in the Bible, and in the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mrs. Eddy.

In lively classes, students learn to know God as divine Life, Truth, and Love, and how to apply the spiritual truths about God and man to the challenges they face at home, in school, with friends, and in their daily activities. They also learn to know God’s tender, constant care for them through a more spiritual understanding of The Ten Commandments, The Sermon on the Mount, and the ever-present principle of Jesus' healing ministry.

Learning that God is Love, and that man was made in His image and likeness, provides students with the knowledge that God, good, is ever-present and able to meet every human need.

Students find through their increased understanding of the perfection of God's man (and child!) that "...today is big with blessing. "(Science and Health, p. vii:1-2)

This past June a group of our Sunday School students (above), together with their teachers and parents, shared the excitement of visiting The Mother Church -- The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston -- where they met with Mother Church Trustees and Staff. and gained new insight into the teachings and practice of Christian Science which they are applying in their daily lives.

Children's Room

Child care is available in our Nursery Room at both the Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services for infants and children who are too young for Sunday School or church.
