On Sundays at all Christian Science churches around the world, the service includes a friendly greeting, the singing of hymns with piano or organ accompaniment, silent prayer, and a sermon consisting of Scriptural readings from the weekly Bible Lesson. These selected passages are read from the King James Version of the Bible and from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, written by Mary Baker Eddy, the founder of Christian Science.
The sermon is led by two members of our congregation who are democratically elected to serve as Readers. The First Reader reads from Science and Health, and the Second Reader reads from the Bible.
Childcare is available during the Sunday morning service in our Children’s Room. We also welcome children and teens in our Sunday School at the same time as the Sunday service.
Wednesday evening services (also referred to as testimony meetings) open with a hymn and are followed by a shorter sermon with selected readings from the King James Bible and from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.
After a second hymn, the "meeting" is opened up to the congregation to share inspiration, gratitude, and testimonies of healing. We welcome you to attend these most inspiring services.
