Our Sunday School meets each week at 10 AM, the same time as our Sunday church services.
We welcome students from pre-school to age 20 into our Sunday School. Here, children learn to apply the teachings of Christian Science to all aspects of their lives, including how to heal and address issues with relationships, school, health, confidence, and morality.
Our students are taught from the Bible and from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, the founder of Christian Science. Their first studies will include the Ten Commandments, the Lord's Prayer, and Christ Jesus' Sermon on the Mount, including the Beatitudes.
We teach our youngest students that they were created in God's image and likeness, and that God is always with them and taking care of them. We teach Bible stories that help students learn how to heal situations they may face and understand the importance of obedience in the healing process.
School-age students learn how to deal with issues related to school, friends, sports, family, and health. As our students move into middle school and high school, we also discuss how to face issues with drugs, alcohol, smoking, and relationships. We do not preach to them, but instead help them think for themselves and understand why it is important morally and spiritually not to experiment in such areas.
Most of all, our students learn that God is all-loving and ever-present, and that He is always caring for and guiding us.
